I can say with my 65 pro-street F-100 it is all ford front to back, frame work
for the big fat tires, all ford, heck even the 15x14 rear wheels, are even
banded stock ford wheels, Thats the way I wanted it, and some people would
think I messed it up, by putting those big tires out back, BUT thats the way
I wanted it, That is what matters!
I see you have ( WORKED ) hard for it very good job, I like it alot !
ENJOY it and by the way my old 65 used to be my dads, and my old
77 Pro-Street ford truck is my daughters truck now!

Nice truck Clark... You are right to each, his own. I'm in a similar situation, my father passed away in 2004 and the truck he gave me (65 frd) will be in memory of him when I'm done. I don't have 45K to put into right now but it's well on it's way. Where did you get those seats and console? I'd love to get that style seat/console for my slick. If you don't mind sharing that information, I'd appreciate it. If the console was made by you any dimensions you're willing to share would be great too. Again, nice ride, Ford or Chevy engine..

Wow what a nice truck, It has really given me the urge to start on my 65 F-100. I still think I'm going to try and go back to a 100% original condition not that I have a problem with your pro-street, it is beautiful just the way it is ..... why because its the way you wanted it and its yours.

Well then, at least put the Ford engine back into it before you give it to your son!! You do not want him walking around greasey! Yes I said walking because with a chevy drivetrain in it that is what he is going to be doing!! Well like you said, to each his own. Maybe he will like walking alot.
When the title is in your name you can do what ever you want with it. Nice build.

the seats in my truck are just low back street rod bucket seats i bought from ISS interior supplies,i had each of them cut down about 4 '' so that they would not be seen so much thru the back glass, the console which houses shifter and all gauges also has a compartment near the back with a hinged lid,i have a lay in tray that holds billfold ,keys, etc. under the tray is the painless wiring fuse block, all wires are run thru the console up under the dash, the console was built by shawn cook of cooks interiors in murphy tx,near dallas,he did the complere interior.i have been very fortunate since completing the truck. i won best of show the very first time the truck EVER left my 2 car garage where most of it was built.it was a feature vehichle at the 2007 sema show in las vegas, while there showed the truck inside the grand ballroom at the hilton while we had an awards dinner for about 600 people.have won many more best of shows since, several isca awards from showing the truck on the isca circuit the first year it was complete.the truck was featured in CUSTOM CLASSIC TRUCKS feb 2009.to this day my proudest moment since my first best of show came last year,i hauled the truck over 900 miles from ft worth tx to knoxville tn for the 2009 f100 supernationals,i wanted to see exactly how well the truck would do at probably the biggest ford show in the country.was ribbed a little for the 468 bbc but for the most part was very well received.i left there winning TRUCK OF THE YEAR 1961-1966,WOW !!!!!!!! it was easily the best sounding truck at the entire show.building the truck took lots of help from lots of people, many folks here at FTE were also very helpful.thanks to the internet its not too difficult to find the parts you need to get the job done.every chance i get i try to buy from rick at carolina classics, met him at the supernationals, small shop, great guy,he was a ton of help.if i can be of ANY help in your build please dont hesitate to let me know, would love to give back if possible some of the help that was bestowed on me. clarkw123-PROSTREET65FORD/ASPHALT ASSASSIN !
