Screwy Weather
Ok, I love spring----kindof----the snow melts away and makes large amounts of mud for my truck to later smuggle away on its body, the weather warms up, but there's too many fluctuations. In the time it took me to write that sentence (20 seconds), we just went from clear sky to thunder, lightning, and pebble-sized hail...What the *$&#????? I'm going to school here in La Grande, Oregon, and I know you coast guys get way wetter weather than here, but is it as screwy?
The past week it's been 70-90 degrees, and now its 40 and hailing......Gotta love the LG

When I'm home, and will be tomorrow, I've taken the dog out at 6:00 AM and it be foggy, at 8:00 it's raining with a 10 degree drop and I have to start a fire for the wife (carefull how you think), at noon the sun has come ou but it's still cold, at 2:00 I'm running around in a T-shirt at 5:00 the temperature has dropped by 20 degrees and it's raining again or foggy or both after 8:00 who cares as I'm in for the night.
Will i ever move again, hold your breath.

Pretty steady here on Whidbey Island in the north-central Sound. Usually 80F, sunny and no rain.
Oops that was San Diego.
We've got at least three weather zones on Whidbey Island between the jet stream usually catching the farthest north end of the island, the Olympics rain shadow (less rain and snow) in the central Whidbey banana belt, and more rain and overcast over those poor South Whidbeyers. The weather changes pretty quickly in the Spring and Fall, but not as much as where you guys live.
No real complaints 'cept the constant drizzle (usually) during Monsoon season, though the last two monsoons weren't too bad except November. I *wish* it would just dump the rain and get it over with, rather than spreading it out so long.
Beautiful right now, the birds are squawking in first light and the worms a'running away.
