please help two weeks ago my six 87 f 150 efi started choaking out after warming up no rpm s would have to flutter gas peddle to get rpm s up like i had bad gas or something methyl hydrate no help then altenator caught fire (electrical plug common problem) put in new altenator but stillhave the same problem runs great cold but problem getting worse dont know if it s not getting fuel or not able to burn what it s getting fuel preasure at 55 psi

Is the check engine light on? Have you checked to see if there are any codes stored in the computer? Sounds like you are having a problem when the computer goes from open loop to closed loop. Could possibly be a O2 sensor, MAP, or wire connection.
