4x4 Hi Range works but Lo Range doesn't

I have a 91 Eddie Bauer w/ switch on the fly 4-wheel drive. The normal 4x4 mode works; however, when I try to kick it into Lo Range, nothing happens. There is no sound coming from the control box under the glove box. Any ideas?

thanx,
Paul

Do you have the truck in Neutral(not park) and the truck must not be moving in order for it to shift into low. If you turn the ignition on (without the engine running) You should hear a click from the control box in the passenger side kick panel when you move the shifter in and out of the N position. I recently had to replace a shift motor on mine. So I had to study up on the system
