I had about a 200 mile round trip to Wash DC yesterday to get an emergency implant on a front tooth #7 which I broke off when crawling around under my truck, and I raised my face up and smacked my teeth on a cross member. I was getting ready to install my new Femco drain valve http://nospillsystems.com/ , but now that's going to wait until the swelling from the 3-hour operation subsides. I think I might be getting a face mask before crawling under the truck again, you wouldn't believe what an implant costs now days!

 

At least it was something that's fixable.

Im with tenn on this one it looks like duct tape!
The worse injury i think i had working on a vechical was workin on my old POS chevy, i was putting a trans in and it fell off the jack on my leg. I thought i broke my leg for sure, it hurted bad, but i just ended up bruising it.

one of my friends lost the same tooth while working on Scummins and dropped a 3/4" impact socket with extension on it, , damn that must have hurt,

What I can't figure out is how you knocked your teeth like that and no bloody lip.
You must REALLY like rolling around under your truck 'cause you had to have been grinning.

 

Count your blessing, last fall I knocked BOTH , yup BOTH of my 2 frront teeth out putting on my Banks exhaust system on my Duramax.(f'n chevy). I did not cut my lip(s). The cost so far a- good performance package, or a
plasma tv. The killer was the Duramax had only 9,000 mi on and it didn't need it

PS. I am thinking of moving BACK to TN.
