Your problem is the resistor relay, go to your friendly Ford dealer (Coral Gables or wherever) and ask them to print a schematic and snag the part, its not expensive. Its a simple changeout, its under the dash on the passenger side under a panel. Make sure you get the four prong one, the three prong is for the rear.
...I don't think its that hot hear in Orlando...lol...I'll be down that way soon to visit some friends and evaluate this hot than hell situation...later brother.

We have reached 89 today in the office thermometer, after we had some thunder storm so the humidity was something like 500, you get the drift.

EATC and CC Design Engineer with help.

As my first post here, I'll let you know that I use to work for Ford and Visteon in the Climate Control division. I have a feeling I might get some grief for letting this be knoen. I was both a Design and the Systems Engineer for several different platforms as well as a component specialist. I was primarily the EATC systems along with blower controllers. The blower resistor you mentioned was one of my old part. The thermal limiter fused is open. the front blower works in high because it is a direct connection, not through the switch. Replacing the swithc is simple, but best be warned that the fuses usually don't open by thenselves without sometiming causing an overcurrent condition. You might be in for a blower motor change soon. You might also check the blower wheel and if there is debri in the blower scroll. Hope this helps. don't hesitate to ask if you have questions. I'm sure I can help.

Thanks. I'll help where I can. If you have an AC problem, don't hesitate to ask or send me a email. I'm familiar with most of the systems. I'm on the electronics and control aspect of the systems (manual and EATC) and can diagnos most issues. Not real up to date on the refrigeration systems but know enough to get you through most issues.

And just for the record... I did not design the air handling units and the doors. So please keep that in mind when you are swearing at the dumb a__ engineer who design this stupid thing that requires you drop the entire dash to swap out a $20 blenddoor actuator. NOT ME!!!

I'll look at posting my "credentials" to the moderators. And if your blend door repair gets really ugly, just let me know. I'll send you the air handling engineers home phone number (baaa haaa). The you can tell him what you think... at 3:00am. Can you tell I'm not real fond of him... he's a DEEK.

The issue with the blend doors breaking stems back to a material issue and the design of the d shaft on the door and how it mates with the actuator. Over time the material gets brittle and stress points on the shaft = broken door.
