Keyless Entry Works, Then Will Not
I have trouble shootted according to the service manual and my keypad will function to lock the system, then when power on (key) the whole thing quits working.
I have checkked all wire conditions seem to be ok, except in door there is 2 wires that goto the lock itself and one is broken, (these do not goto the outside tumbler, or the lock actuator, but the latch itself.... Ideas?
Oh I cannot ever unlock via code??
Thanks

If you are sure you have the right code, try entering the code and then press the last number a second time. If all the doors react but the driver's door, the problem is not with the keyless entry but with the door itself.
Do the keyfobs work properly? Again, press the unlock button once and then a second time. If some of the doors react, then the system is probably working right.
If the keyfobs and keyless entry pad cause nothing to happen, ever, then there is a problem with the keyless entry system module.
A broken wire is never a good thing. You might want to trace out where the wire should go based on color using the service manual. It just might be your problem.
Does the keypad light up when you touch it, no matter what the number? If it does, then at least you know the keypad is getting power. If it doesn't, there are probably electrical problems in the door. Again, fix the wire.
