Canopy weather-stripping (Attention Ford parts dealers)

Broadening my search.

I am in the need of Part number.

D8TZ-9909404A06

It is the weather-stripping that goes under the piano hinge joining the door to the canopy.

Dennis, if that w/strip (D8TZ-99404A26-A - it went obsolete 11/87) is a straight extrusion without molded ends, there are several place you can find it.

That;s the trouble Bill, I have looked everywhere and phoned everywhere.

Numerous actual weather-stripping manufacturuers ..truck canopy dealers..

It is a unique design that has not be duplicated that I know of.
I have looked though several application charts,at several WS dealers at numerous swap meets.

But, I'm thinking there might be a few pieces or a roll laying somewhere on dusty inventory shelf.

The part number explains it is for a 78 canopy but it was used on canopies since 1973.

The OP is no longer on this board. I could refer you to where he now resides, but I might bring the wrath of the ban stick....
