Are the fittings attaching the trans oil cooler lines special,I noticed they are o-ringed and i can't find the right size at auto parts stores,speed shops and of course the ford dealer is no help the trans is too old (about 1977).Thanks

 

Yes they are. Try a trans shop.

 

I tried that they told me the only place they know to get them is at a Ford dealer. I guess the next stop is the old bone yard. Thanks for the reply.
