'roo guard for the project truck?
Dan, can I have a " 'roo guard" on the front of the project?
It is sort of clunky looking, but would be something special about our truck.

I bet no one else in the States would have one - all they have is wimpy little brush guards!

And, no, we do not have any 'roos, but that will help us keep it bright and shinny.
The link I gave before is to Garth's gallery, but he has added a picture for us. Now that is what I call a grill guard! All it needs is a fair-lead for a winch, and you could tackle downtown LA.

I already have a nice beefy front tube bumper for it which came off the same truck the front axle came out of. It's made from 4" pipe with a 2' wide push bar sticking up from the top. It wouldn't take much to extend the push bar portion out to the sides of the truck and fab it into a whole Bullbar (or 'Roo guard).
I'll drag it out and take pics of it this afternoon so you can see what I'm talking about.

We will be the only truck on the track with a 'roo guard! Even the Texans will turn green with envy!!!!

In Texas, they also have a catch basket, to retrieve the "product" to sell at boot manufacturers, I believe.
I think most of our concern would be for skunks, a guard that would eject the critters far away before any spraying or rupture of the bladder could occur.
But that's my practical side speaking out. I suppose for the sake of individualism, a 'roo guard would be sort of a classic. Maybe even dovetail in a reference to "'roo" in the truck's title. Kind of a theme?
