Fuel Problems?

I have the 1994 F150 with the 302. I have replaced the fuel pump assembly, filter, fuel pressure regulator and all the thing wants to do is buck, jump and snort unless you put your foot through the floor. At one point I was able to change the source of fuel to either fuel tank I wasn't currently using but that doesn't help any more. Any ideas?

If either online fuel pump has a broken wire or loosely attached plug which is causing intermittent power outages to a pump, you would sort of buck around.

Well I had the bed off and both units out of the tank when I replaced the front pump assembly but thanks for the thought...

have you actually checked the fuel pressure?? could be short going to pumps, did you replace the pick up screens on the bottom of the pumps in the tank?? maybe you have trash/rust in tank clogging the screen.

The pickup is new in the front tank but I haven't actually put a gauge on the schrader valve. It has some strange thread that is not 1/8" NPT but close. I guess it's just another tool I need to buy
