Snow Plow package..

I recieved my build sheet from Ford, very cool! My truck, '03 SD, 5.4 FX4, is equipped with a snow plow package. What does that consist of?

Heavy duty front springs. How did you go about obtaining this build sheet?

Cool, that build sheet a handy thing!!! When I bought my 03 a couple of months ago, I realized after the fact that my truck has a back up alarm installed...

That's when I requested my build sheet to see what else the truck had installed.

The snow plow prep package should include the highest front GAWR springs and a steering damper. 5.4L equipped Super Duties would also have auxiliary springs.

Are the build sheets still stashed under the seats or behind the dash somewhere? That was a long time ago. Last one I found was under the seat on my 79 Ranchero.

So, how do you go about getting one now?

No, you have to call Ford (it's a 1-800 number) and provide them the VIN and your address. They mail you the build sheet about a week later...and it's free.
