Was just curious..

Guys since I put a upgraded 5.0HO motor in my 92 F-150 SD equipped truck I was wondering if a 351w ECU would run the motor better than my stock 302 computer?

I'm running a 351 ECU with my 302 HO and it does seem to run considerably better than when I was running it wit a 302 ECU

Where can I get a 351W ECU out of? And what years do I have to use for Speed density just to be safe?

94 was the switch over year to mass air so anything before that will work. You can get them from a wrecker or you can buy a refurbished one for $114 US with a one year warranty

What is the difference really? I am getting a surging at idle only and have bought brand new sensors, checked all the wiring and I am starting to believe that the stock 302 computer is not keeping up with the added upgrades on the 99 Explorer block. What is the differences mainly using the 351w ecu computer?
