BTS Dual Oil Pump

Brian said he is using a newer pump instead of the old 530 pump. Anyone have those directions for install or any install directions? Just needing it to show the person helping me. TIA

This is a question that has to do with the dual setups. I've noticed that a lot of them stack one on top of the other, which will reverse rotation on the top one, I'm guessing.
Are they designed so that it doesn't matter which way they turn, it will still pump the oil out where it's supposed to?
Or is the 530 pump designed specifically to turn in the opposite direction as the PSD pump?

I think he said that they aren't using the 530 anymores and it is a reverse rotation. I hope it pumps out oil instead of sucking the oil out.

The new pump on the top does spin the opposite direction Dan. However they now use stock 17 or 15* pumps, however they send them out to get the internals remanufactured to be designed to be run in reverse. That is why they were waiting on them to come in.

I talked to Brian and he said my pump has a lot of life left at 78K. Otherwise, if it were failing or going to fail soon, I'd go with the Terminator. However, Cale brought up a fact about the terminator that I forgot. It would be using one shaft to turn 2 pumps. IMO, that would be putting more stress on the pump shaft.
