Hello All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Living and selling real estate in the Metro Atlanta area for about the last 25 years.
Own a 2001 X 4X4 with the V-10 gas engine, 4.30 rear (purchased new). Use it primarily to put lots of people in and show houses but also towing a 25' boat. Just had the drive train repaired—new gears, bearings and u-joints, straightened the drive shaft that was 60/1000 out of round. I have been able to use the search function to answer most of my questions but now am stumped. With a 4-wheel drive question what forum is the best one to ask a question?

Hello and Welcome! 
Posting as you did in the Excursion forums was fine. Any of the forums that have trucks with shift on the fly should be able to help. We do have a 4x4 forum and it may be able to help to.
