Bad vibration?
I have a '99 F-250 SD, 4x4, when I am on the interstate running 65 and up, going into any turn(even slight) causes a bad vibration in the rear. If I am driving at highway speeds, 65 and slower, nothing. Put on new rear shocks and it helped nothing. Anyone know what this could be? Thanks

My first thought is if it has a locker rearend the clutches are sticking. A bottle of modifier might fix it. I have seen rearends that made a bang sound like a gunshot when going off onto an offramp from the freeway but a vibration could also result.

Do you have a 2 piece drive shaft? If so, check the center bearing for loosness. It may need to have the spines re-lubed.

The only thing a turn does is make the differential gears work, however at 65 your not going to make them work that hard since turns are really gradual. You are changing the load and thrust on wheel bearings that might be where I would have a look, get it on a lift or jack stands and see what they turn like by hand, then unloaded under engine power.
