Speaking of K-town, I had no idea I was like 10 minutes away from Mako every weekend....lol

Oh, by the way....I have some potentially good news. I think I may have managed to clear my first check engine light problem on my own.

There was a leak with the EVAP system. I replaced all 3 sections of hose than went from the intake manifold to the EVAP canister purge valve. Drove it for 60 miles w/o shutting it off....(yes, I managed to keep a 5-speed from dying through several stoplights and stopsigns for a little over an hour!), and the light didn't come back on, and I had to make another small trip, and still no check engine light.

I'm attempting inspection tomorrow, and with any luck, she'll pass. If so, I fixed the problem for less than 3 bucks.

That was a problem n mine the battery had corroded 2 lines that run under the battery tray finally fixed. Now it's the IAC on my truck mayb I will fix it tomorrow

Yeah, the line under the battery looks pretty bad on mine as well, so that may be the next thing for me.
