Smile Found something else to polish!

This is just one coat of nano polish. I hope to see it improve over several mare applications. This weekend I will be pulling them off completely and going over the entire length of the IC pipes. Realy makes a difference in appearance under the hood.

Wow that looks great. What did you use to do the polishing besides Nano. Any kind of buffer?

Wow, Tim... you beat me to it. When i did the foil delete early last month, I decided that I wanted ot pull those rascals back off again and polish them with the buffing pad on my bench grinder, and then clear coat 'em. Tell me more about this polish compound you used. Where can you get it? and what's the application method?

It's Eagle One's Nano polish. I believe its is for all types of crome and aluminum wheels. Small can I bought locally at Advance Auto?

The photo's you see above are from one application with a terry towel. One side to apply, and one side to remove excess. I was just fooling around to see if they would polish out and with one coat, it looks like they will!

When I get them off I will be using the Eagle One stuff, but may get a buffer involved to make things go faster. Hope this helps.

P.S. The flash on the camera took away from the crome effect that they had after one coat of polish. The pics dont do much justice. I will remeber not to use the flash next time!

I like the look too. That's another reason I didn't paint mine and would not recommend clearcoating either. That material holds a shine for a long time and doesn't tarnish. Better still, a quick cleaning and touchup takes just minutes.
