From the mouths of babes

I started setting up the Go Kart today, set the axles, set the engine (Honda GX390) and was marking out for the jackshaft when my 5 YO came and told me she didn't like the engine.

I asked "why...is it too big"?

No, she says.."it's dirty and needs to be pink".

Guess I know what color to paint things now

She's a smart girl at 5 and has an opinion. Although, I think it's true for most girls. haha

I think it's cool that she has a voice. Keep encouraging her to have one, dad.

Something tells me that this was 1FBB at age 5.............

5-yr-old girls are funny...and honest.......Like when you ask them "you don't want me to lie to you, do you"....?.....and they reply with a nodding head....."yessssss"......(haha).....

Kids.

I always fantasized about babes saying completely different things about me. I've never had daughters so I do don't know what the heck you all are talking about.

lol...you guys and gals are too funny.

Daughters are like sons...up to a certain age, then certain things will enevitably take over...

But there's always hope for our young women of the world...BroncoBabe is a perfect example...she like's trucks

Actually, I was the complete opposite at 5. Very shy. My bio mom was a monster.... so I kept my mouth shut. I'm a little bit more like the 5 yo I should have been. Except, I don't push my heavy opinion on ppl. Nobody likes a highly opinionated woman.

That's not true! So long as their opinion agrees with mine, it's just fine by me.

Actually I don't think anyone likes a highly opinionated person period, whether it is female or male.

I've found out in in my personal world, being highly opinionated makes you an ***, but in the professional world, it makes you a knowledgeable person with strong covictions.

Go figure....
