Iam looking at getting a bass tube and installing it behind the back seat. My question is will it fit? This is the 8`` tube not the 6``
Does anyone have one install in their CC superduty?

 

Hmmm, I and a few others have got a 6" back there, which barely fits. I have seen others ask whether an 8" would fit, but haven't ever seen anyone comment back that it did work out for them. Hopefully someone in the know will chime in.

 

I would get the 6" but the 8" is on sale at CC. Maybe Ill have to go for the 6"

I still don't know anything about the 8", but last weekend I added a second 6" as slave to my first 6", and it sounds much better. Both of the tubes fit end-to-end in the plastic tray that holds the spare tire stuff (which I relocated to the tool box in the bed). Setup still won't compare to a set of 12" in a box, but for the space available, I am quite happy.
