My cup holder is now working!

I removed the assembly from the dash, couldn't see what was binding, but I detected a bit of something that was probably pop on some of it... so I tossed the whole thing into a bucket of hot water for 2 minutes. Pulled it out and the hot water had melted the sugar and it was moving just fine. I gave a few more dunks to make sure all traces of the sugar was gone, then reinstalled. Very happy now!

Since I was outside, I decided to properly route my Sirius antenna. When I first got the receiver, I just stuck it in the bottom middle of the windshield and left the antenna sitting on the dash so I could get it activated. Was going to get around to properly mounting it later, but you know how that goes. Worked okay for the most part, but when I was driving home last night it was a bit spotty, and the only obstruction in the area would have been my roof. So I mounted the antenna at the rear of the roof, notched a bit of plastic from the 3rd brake light housing and ran the coax in and along the headliner, down the driver's A-pillar, and mounted the receiver at the bottom driver's side of the windshield. I can read the display easier now.

That is right on to hear, nice easy fix. Hey on a different note, did you ever figure out what the whole pro grade thing was on those silent armour tires?

No, I have to save up for the tires anyways, so I wasn't too worried about it until it was time. Somebody was going to Fountain on the weekend to grab a set of SA's, so maybe he asked.

Can anyone on here weld aluminum on a weekend? I have a couple of cracks at the rear of my deck that need repair, from the previous owner backing into something.

Right now I am thinking Ox due to the fact that they are open when not in use and locked when you need it, as my truck is my daily driver and a locked or serious limited slip on icy winter roads is not too much fun. When I get some, I was to get the good ones.

I'm getting my truck ready to sell and have had 2 offers on it but no follow-ups. So today I went and bought battery and pulled plugs and gapped 'em and shot wd-40 down the holes, put big ratchet and socket on crank and spun engine by hand, put plugs back in, dumped gas in tank, hooked up battery, poured some gas down carb, turned key and she started right up, let run for a couple minutes, got out to look at exhaust and notice LOTS of gas on the intake manifold, shut her down quickly and noticed someone had smashed my outside mirror to top it all off!!! and called it a day, arrrrgghh!!!

my truck for sale on craigslist:

putting in the front lift springs this week, they will lift it up level again. Got the drivers side front out today.

I guess the carb seals absorbed the gas or something 'cause I started the truck up today and she ran fine for 15 minutes, no gas leaks, YAAYYYY!!
