07 Eddie Bauer Explorer question

Just took delivery of a new 07 EB Explorer last night. Gorgeous SUV, but kind of concerned about something. Window sticker shows Eddie Bauer edition, but nowhere on the outside or inside of the truck does it say. The earlier Explorers had the Eddie Bauer insignea under the Explorer name, or on the interior somewhere. The truck has the EB lower brown trim, the real simulated rosewood dash, etc., and is loaded to the mountains...but now name plates. Did Ford stop putting this designation on the Explorers in a hope to reduce class envy...an attempt to make all buyers warm, fuzzy and equal? Personally, since I paid the extra bucks, i'd like to show it.
Actually just making sure I got what I paid for...

They took away the eddie bauer badges after 2005. You could buy older badges from pre-2005. If the sticker says you have it, then you do...

Like someone said, just get the older ones,and put them on. You could also have an artist paint the name under the Explorer emblem.

hmm, this odd. i test drove a 2006 and it had eddie bauer id on the rear hatch. I looked at 3 for that matter and they all had had it. I bought an 06 limited in the end but that even has the limited on the rear . I also looked up on ford parts online under 2007 ford explorer and they do list a eddie bauer emblem for 2006-2007 explorers here is the link. copy this and make a stink with the dealer to get you one, it should be on there.
