How to install amp behind back seat question

Hello everyone!

I finished installing the overhead monitor, new headset unit, front speakers with sound deadener, and I run the wires to install an amp. The problem is that I need to install the amp behind the back seat of a 2005 F150 Super Crew Cab. I need to put it behind the seat to build a custom box under the seat.

Any suggestions as to how remove the back seat? or to fold it forward?. All suggestions will be appreciated, thank you before hand.

The answers you seek can be found with the search function grasshopper...

Somebody posted a pic within the last couple of days of a behind the seat amp install. It was two JL audio amps. It looked tight so I'd be worried about overheating. Somebody also posted a procedure for rear seat removal.

my suggestion would be to put it under a seat somewhere....if you put it behind the back seat it may not get enought air around it and it very well could overheat.....my last truck i had my amp under my drivers seat and it got pretty hot and i was only running one 10" sub...

just keep that in mind...

there are black tabs that need to be pushed on (it is the black thing in front of the left amp...the pic makes it look funny) there are 1 on each side and it lifts off after taking the bolts out of the seatbelt on top of the seat. search will find the instructions. here is a pic of mine though. 2 10's underneath the seat.
