FORD PUTTING DODGE IN ITS "PLACE" mile after mile

I wouldnt call that "putting in its place" , On the first vid I will admit that guy has a pretty tuff ranger but its pretty obvious the vid was staged. I mean when they look at the speedo after getting "blown away" they were only doing like 50 MPH, hell my V10 could have done better than that. The stretch of road they are racing on is entirely too short. The Lightning race I have a hard time believing as well, having formerly owned a Lightning (high insurance forced sale) I REALLY doubt this is a legit race. BTW youtube.com is not a credible source for anything that isnt sanctioned.

Yes Cougar, we have established that the Ranger is fast, but I have driven an SRT-10 and a Lightning, both are geared for racing and done professionally. The Ranger I'm sure has some big bucks put into it I would just have a hard time believing this to be real. If they want people to think so they should at least make it look realistic.

My guess would be that the ranger probly has a super on it. Not sure though, but regardless, on a powerstall its not that hard to get a massive burnout if you dont mind losing a couple hundred dollars worth of tires.
Question for Cougar-Have you ever driven a Lightning? I have, its fast, REAL fast. Its not going to be outrun by a Ranger that doesnt have a TON of money into it same goes for the SRT-10. SRT and SVT dont have the credibility they do by beaing outrun by a Ford Ranger (BTW just for the record, I consider rangers a glorified car at best).
What would be impressive is if a guy could make a Ranger outrun one of the two with $1000 budget and some elbow grease. But considering its a majority thought that the video's are a fake I guess its nothing to harp on.

I'll be honest and not B.S. No i have not even been inside a SRT or SVT. So you think it's not possible that the ranger blew it's doors off. But I understand your point. It was a good one.
