99 lightning specs

I just bought a 99 lightning that needs a front end, but the only one I can find close to me is from a 2002. Will this work or am I going to have trouble with the coolers and mechanicals? I am not an expert on these trucks and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What part of the front end of your '99 is being replaced? Part of the front clip, a front hub assembly, a ball joint or two, the upper grille? The lower grille?

Please be specific. There were a few minor changes between the '99/'00 and the '01+ years. Most notably, and actually (now that I think about it) the only things changed were 12mm lugs vs 14mm lugs, the addition of Bilstein shocks, and the front facia, causing the fog lights to be mounted differently.

Edit: The crank pulley attaches slightly differently in the '01+ models too. And the S/C bolt pattern to the midplate is different. But I'm sure the s/c bolt pattern isn't a concern for you.

The only part I'm concerned with is the radiator, air charge cooler hoses, and the bolt on stuff right out front. I was concerned maybe some of the coolant plumbing was changed. Thanks for the info, thats why I always keep an eye on this forum.

Nah, except for the items I mentioned (for example the fog light mounts) all that stuff is exactly the same from year to year.
