It's probably not the knock sensor. I would think it would store a code. Run a diagnostic check.
The supercharger should come with a new controller or some means to recurve the fuel and timing.
Superchargers increase cylinder pressure and temperature causing the mixture to pre ignite more easily. Plugs that are too hot of a heat range, carbon deposits in the combustion chamber can all aggravate this problem. Maybe you are running too much boost. Anyway consult the manufacturer of the supercharger.
I believe the knock sensor is on the top rear of the block behind the intake near the bell housing.

Thank you mjb1962 for your reply, as far as the boost of my charger is only 6psi, the plugs heat range i am not sure what it is , as i have installed an edelbrock aluminum head that has a defferent plugs from stock and i had to order it from summit(where i bought it from) the heads has a 60cc chamber , also had a forged pistones with 8.33:1 comperition. what i am worry about is that i am using a EEC that i took from a 1996 351w bronco auto E4OD , and i am using it now in my manual 351 1996 f150, that is because i have swaped the original 302 engine that was in the f150 with a 351w engine , and when i used the EEC of the 302 manual tranny, i thoght it might run lean so that why i installed the broncos E4OD EEC, can that effect the performance ?? or cause the detonation?? the f150 has no o2 sensors but the EEC of the bronco was made to operate an engine with o2 sensors, any idea...
