New bumpers

I got caught in the middle of a 4 car collision the other morning in my '02 F250 CC 4x4. Just scratched the front and rear bumpers but waisted the receiver hitch. I am thinking I might get heavy duty front and rear bumpers. Does anyone know if the '02 and '08 are mounted the same? I ask this because I have 126,000 miles on my truck and if I decide to get a new F250 a year from now I would want to keep the bumpers and install them on the new truck. Any info appreciated.

I don't think they are mounted the same. They are to totally different bumpers. If you decide to go with heavy duty front and rear bumpers, get ranch hand.

I agree with i eat hybrids. All of the aftermarket bumper companies I have looked at have a new model for the 08.

There is a chance the rear bumper might fit, but we're still waiting to get our Hands on the 08. I know the front mounts completely different and there is too much of a change in the design for an old HD bumper to fit on it...
