Close enough to Cinco De Mayo for me! We had chicken enchiladas, tamales, chimmychangas, beans, rice and strawberry margaritas! Oh, yeah, and an MGD! Must be "go out for Mexican" week!

I am curious about tomorrow's dinner. I have my daughters B-day party at 2 and we are having beandip and chips and nacho cheese.

I think for dinner We may go to the Golden Corral. It is a Steak Buffet in Marysville. I love it. All the steak salad deserts and yummy sides like mashed potato's and mushrooms you can stuff in your gullet.

Restaurants suck here. Might as well stay on the frozen pizza diet.

For today, lunch is wood chips.

I don't know about that, I used to eat good out there on the island when I drove service rig for U-Haul. We covered from Lynwood all the way to the border on 5 and from the top of Stevens out to Anacortes and Whidbey. Had to do a recovery out on Guemes once. Did that the last 7 months befor I retired.

Where on Whidbey did you eat? We're still looking for a restaurant here worth driving to...Next try is the Golf Club's part-time restaurant overlooking Holmes Harbor in Freeland.

The El Corral in Freeland and the Mi Pueblo in Oak Harbor are "Ok". The old Henderson's in Oak Harbor reopened with a Sikh Indian owner, their curry flavored meals are pretty good. The new Applebee's is overpriced for random quality. The new Chinese Buffet in O.H is good for a few meals then gets old.

Our stomachs and taste-buds are dying for a good place to chow down...
