Hey its not too hard to do. Just don't rush the job. I am assuming you are only speaking of the weather strips for the doors and the back window right? The door strips go deep into the door in the channel and you may have to remove the window mechanism from the door to install it. If you are going to install the window swipe along the dottom window edge I recommend that you do remove the window track assembly. For the striping around the outside of the door use a drop of "GOOP" glue about every 6 inches to assist with the hold.
As for the back window the weatherstrip in the top just pulls out with a tug. It is just tucked in there under a slight lip. The rear window swipe can be removed and replaced with the window slig down butit can be tricky. This is held in by little sping clips and if you look at the new one you will understand how it attaches.
actually i was refering to the weatehr stripping that seals the window, and keeps water from going down into the door and tailgate. Sorry if i got ya confused.
Dave
Water will alwats go into the rear tailgate. Just like the doors, there are made to channel water through. Now if the stripping is cracked then that is adifferent story, those things can be sharp when they get old and brittle.
