F250 Lift

I bought a set of 38" tires for a '94 F250 4x4 351W standard cab. Whats the best way to fit them under the truck? Can I get away with doing a 3" body lift and possibly cutting a little out of the fenders or am I going to end up hacking alot of metal out. Am I better off with a suspension lift? Im setting the car hobby aside, im new to the truck thing. Thanks in advance.

hahaha

what fishmandotcom is trying to say is SEARCH!

it's been covered quite a bit.

oh, and suspension lift is what you want.

and i just saw that its a f250.. which means ttb.. which means 38's are probably too big for your truck.

IF the tires will fit, spend the extra bucks and get a suspension lift. I know body lifts are appealing because of the low initial cost, but in my opinion, a suspension lift is worth the money.

Thanks, I'm learning alot fast. It looks like I would have to do a suspension lift, solid axle swap, and change the gears in my rearends just to get these damn tires in there and have the truck work off-roading. If I have enough $$ after a mustang project, I may do it all. Otherwise tires are for sale.
