94 ranger wont start any ideas
Hey all I have one for you all. To be honest I have not played around too much to trouble shoot but please if any of you all has dealt with this feel free to offer any advice. So I have a 94 ranger 2.3l four cylinder. It has not been driven much in the last couple of months but when I got in it the other day it would not turn over. When I turn the key (battery has charge) with the clutch depressed nothing happens. The starter does not even try. It is very similar to turning the key if I did not have my foot on the clutch. My question is does that sound like the ignition switch?
The key lock broke for the ranger so I can start the ranger with out a key and it spins and what not?
we have ruled out the battery.

Hi and welcome!
There are several things it could be. I guess I'd check out the ignition switch first since you state it has issues, but there's also a clutch interlock system so that it won't turn over without the clutch pedal being depresed, so I'd take a loook at that as well. The switch for it is up at the top of the clutch pedal, near where it pivots. Check the wires and the connector there.
