The "Wee Beastie" is our only transport, so no.
Though I'll be exchanging the 600cfm 1850 Holley & "C" intake for the 450cfm Holley Economaster & "DP" intake as soon as I'm able to get the funds together.
That should help a tick w/ the "Olde Girls" mpg from what she gets now.

When you're just being you is when you come across as the most fun.

The only thing that can make me park one of my old trucks is winter with the salt used on the roads.
I live for summer.

There's a web site on MSN where you can type in a zip code and find the lowest prices in your area. It's http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx. There's also one called www.gasbuddy.com that does US and Canada. The data are updated every 24 hours. Cool resource.

Boy I just thought we had it bad with the price climbing to $2.79 for regular today. If it gets that high I might have to think about a bicycle. Same here about the drinking, drugs, and smoking, I don't even chase wild women anymore, don't know what I would do if I caught one . All of my extra $$$$ go into either my truck or RVing.

Sometimes a man just has things to get off his chest.
I have to agree that those two subjects have got to be the most volatile and devisive in history and they always end up causing someone to get angry. So, about those trucks......

Won't park 'em here. I run the flathead, a cummins turbo, a jeep 4.0 HO, assorted 302/5.0's, have the parts gathered for a warm 400 and there's a 429 in the corner that's starting to whisper to me.

I figure I'd have to spend a lot more for fuel than I do now to make up the difference new truck payments, registration and insurance would cost me.

Plus there's nothing like the sound of cubes roaring to life. What's this mileage thing I keep hearing about? I only figure 'smiles' per gallon.

I don't think I could ever park a vehicle because of gas prices. My daily driver is my 77 Bronco with a SEFI 351W and I get maybe 12mpg, and my wifes driver is an 04 F150 4x4 that gets maybe 16mpg... I cringe on the days I have to fill em both up...

It's 2.77$ here. My '55 only has a 16 gallon tank, so the pain is not as intense.
