Factory tach
Hey guys, I found a factory tach gauge cluster in one of the local yards. My '92 doesn't have one. Will it work by simply swapping the cluster in or are the provisions just not there for it? The truck it is in is a V8 truck and mine is a 4.9L. Thanks...

I just did it.....not hard at all if you follow these directions and don't rush it.

Mine came out of a 93. I'm having a little problem with the Batt. Volt gauge but it does work and I'm sure I can fix it fairly easy...... everything else worked fine.
Try to keep your speedo needle from pegging to the right....it moves by itself as you handle the speedo......but even that came back to normal after I drove the truck and got it up to speed.
Hardest part for me was getting the cluster out......it's a tight fit until you get the wires unplugged.
