very easy if you can get to it.
drain the antifreeze than pry the old plug out with a screwdriver.
use a socket that fits into the new plug and hammer it it.
a wood dowel can be used also.

any good parts store has an assortment.
take the old one to them if you have a problem.
like bruce said, clean the hole good.
i have not changed one for a long time but i seem to remember using a touch of grease to help it go in.
and as subford has pointed out the correct name is a 'welch plug'.
subford, i fixed my incorrect spelling.

They come alone.
Some call them by their real name, Welch plugs.

they don't come alone as in only getting one, you have to buy either a set of the size you want, or you can get a pack of assorted sizes. but it's only like $5 or $10 at the most. it's been several years since i bought any, the brass ones are better imo.

I always bough them one at a time as far as I can remember, its been about 25 years since I bought them.
I now have stacks of them that I bought at auctions.

depends on where you shop. the creepy places always want to sell you a package of them but better parts stores will sell them one at a time.
