right on, this is what I am talking about:thumbsup: I have put a K&N air filter in our truck, but am kinda wondering about the 6637 mod, or maybe one of the aftermarket intakes, I do want to modify our truck, but I want to hear some of the options first, such as 4" exhaust, and 5" exhaust, and if anybody has one, a straight piped 7.3 that would be awesome to hear

my first truck was an 81 F150 with the 4.9 GREAT MOTOR!!! had over 300,000 original miles when the radiator gave up the ghost, and I was about to get married, so I figured better to have a "reliable car" so that I wouldnt be throwing good money at an OLD truck, wish I had kept that one

Daily Driver: 85 F-250 XLT SuperCab Lariat 4x4 6.9L IDI Diesel. Mostly stock for now, though it has some custom wheels that i have yet to identify, were on the truck when I bought it. Not planin on doin much to her, 'cept mabey a set of dual stacks, and mabey a Banks Sidweinder kit if I can find one used at a good price.

Project: (When I get it out here anyways..LOL) 84 Mustang SVO 2.3L Turbo Intercooled 4 banger, 5 spd. Great little car, fun to drive, suprisingly good on gas. Gonna do a lot of restoring on it when I get it out here, runs great but needs a lot of work electricaly and cosmeticaly.

I missed it. Did you ever say what type of "reliable car"? emmyndex drives a Honda so you wouldn't be the only one.

I second the PAID FOR! post, hate interest on top of payments.

'95 F350 4x4 big 'un. 460EFI, E4OD. 4.10 diff. Dana 60FF in the front. Manual 2speed transfer case. K&N air filter, but no real engine mods. Roll Along body and interior custom finishing, pretty good for '95. Type IV hitch that has towed 14,000lbs, overall GVW 22,500lbs for two 1000 mile hauls plus numerous other small tows.
Edit: Oh yeah, the heavy hauls were too much for the trailer tires, they're cracked and gotta' be replaced sheesh.

.
Other Fords in sig, plus a '73 Mustang i loved that car was an idjit for selling it. And a '75 E150 van that was a good one too.

I never said, but its a Kia, which currently has a blown head gasket, but I got my moneys worth out of it, and am planning on rebuilding it, sometime this year(if I can save enough money for parts)

I covet your Ford too. But I'd drive a Kia right now to get to school instead of a bus that takes an hour. That is if I could fit in a Kia.

You've real nice trucks too, a diesel sure would have been handy for a few of the trips here. Mountains are a torque killer for me. (Is one of yours a diesel Snowbunny?}

You'se guyz stay up late! I'm an early bedder and riser :zzz:
