All, received mine from Dfuser (http://stores.ebay.com/dfuserdotcom) this morning...put them on immediately and hooked up my 36' TH and took it for a spin. It is unreal how much of a difference these things make. Not only does it reduce the huge blind spots my 05 had, but now with the new tow mirrors I can actually see the trailer versus a sliver of the trailer and the ground.

This is the best $400 upgrade I can remember ever making.

I've had my 08 F-250 about a month now and the mirrors are my only complaint. Ford should have used LEDs in the mirrors as opposed to incandesents. I'm hoping that the after market comes up with a clear or smoked replacement for the yellow lenes on the mirrors.

Woah, wait a minute....

No LED'S???!??!!

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The LED side signals are half the reason why I bought the whole truck!! (no kidding!)

Please tell me that's gonna change in a year or so?????

I was seriously debating this swap till I read this....

you can always add an led bulbto replace the factory bulb, and with the smoked option coming soon these mirrors will be even sweeter than anything else out there!

They look great IMO. Mine are pretty beat up and most of the paint has chipped off the tubular parts from over 200,000 miles of bugs and rocks and stuff hitting them. They also don't telescope and don't have heaters...

Anytime you can get a better field of view backwards is a huge plus too.

When you can show me an LED bulb with the same light dispersal characteristics of a filament bulb, I'll think about it.

My major complaint with LED replacement bulbs is that, on all the ones I've seen so far, they cannot disperse light in a relatively spherical pattern like a filament bulb does; thus they can't use the reflector, and leave MUCH to be desired in their ability to effectively replace the filament bulb. Not too much of an issue when the bulb is in a show-car or other poser, but a MAJOR issue on the road.

I quit counting the number of swapped tail/brake lights that I've seen that are all but useless because the LED bulb only makes this dim quarter-sized spot of light in a housing designed for a filament bulb, that uses the reflector to make a light transmission area about the size of a 5x8 photograph.

Purpose designed LED arrays are great; replacements are not. (and yeah, I'm debating the LED tail lights, too.)

Incidentally, anyone know if the plugs for the '08 mirrors are the same for '07 trucks, or am I gonna have to re-wire? My '07 mirrors have the heat, power, and signals...
