What should i do?
The transmission has a leak. Shes got a bad leak. My haynes manual says that to get an accurate reading the vehicle should be driven for a while before the transmission fluid level is checked. I obviously cant do that (no brakes). I dont want to run it in idle and then check the fluid because i dont know how much life is left in this transmission. When i do run the car to keep the fluids goin the tranny smokes. I assume thats not good.
What do you think i should do? This vehicle is a 1970 Firebird with a TH350. I know this is a ford sight yadda yadda but i need help and from my experience so far the ford boys know best. All the pontiac forums blow. Any help is appreciated.
