Guys this saturday I am going to use a cherry picker to pull my old engine block out of my truck, my question is this. Will I run into any problems with pulling my old block out of my 92 F-150 since it has a 3 inch body lift on it? What is the best way to use this cherry picker to pull the engine out?

 

If the truck is too tall to get the motor out you can let the air out of the tires or remove the tires to lower the front a bit.

 

or you can pull the grill and core support. i will be doing this on my rolled 88 that has 35's and 6" lift.

 

Last motor I helped pull we also yanked the tires and lowered the front on a set of jackstands. If you do it this way, be sure to set the parking brake. Engine bay access was much easier as well.
