1969-70 Mustang GT hood scoop on a truck hood
Has anyone attempted to put this 1969-70 CJ mustang GT hood scoop on a 65-66 truck hood? It appears they can be found on Torinos and Cougars as a donor. They are also avalible new, very expensive with grill and turn lights.

Has anyone put any hood scoop on the truck hood?
What kind was it?
Did you like it after you were done?

C9ZZ-16C624-A .. Hood Scoop~used on various 1969/73: Mustangs, Cougars, Torinos, Montego's, and some big Fords. It will fit on any flat surfaced hood. It's fibreglas, and has 4 imbedded mounting studs.
The above is the standard (dummy) hood scoop. It can be used with or without lights. Some of the above models used small glued on chrome emblems on the side denoting engine size (390/351 etc), or nameplates that said: CobraJet.
dearbornclassics.com lists them in their catalog (pg 129) for $159.95 (Ouch, they were 30 bucks when new). The 390/351 etc and CobraJet emblems are also reproed.
NOTE: 1979 and later Mustangs and Capri's used a similar hood scoop (D9ZZ-16C624-A) and are prolly a heck of a lot cheaper than the above.
