Thanks a ton. That would be alot better than the snap method. My Bronco isnt any show truck but I wasnt fond of having to put holes in it.

Hey guys...new here, but just wanted to pass this along. If you are interested in a soft top for 78/79's as well as 80's - 96's, shoot me a PM. My friend and I are beginning to make them based off of a modified STC design. The first run will be snap style, the bows will be 3003 anodized aluminum, or e-coated seamed carbon steel tubing and the material will be sailcloth (canvas). Hopefully we will be able to make several colors.

I'm an Engineer by trade and my friend is an upholsterer, so we came up with the idea given the recent demand from our local (and even national) Bronco community.

We are both FullSize Bronco enthusiasts!!! (I have a 93 & 96, and he has a 79 on 44's w/ 460)

Again, shoot me a PM...the ball is alread rolling!!!

That'd be sweet since it will take a bit before I could get to agricover. Plus I'm sure you could keep your prices lower than any company out there.

This is the STC snap style. Our design borrows from this. We currently have a worn out STC snap top that we are tearing down to get an initial pattern started, and then we will tweak from there. I have quotes coming in for the hardware and bows. The snaps will be black oxide coated instead of the brass-nickel finish in this picture and the one linked in the post before this.

Once again, PM me with any questions, and thanks for the interest!!!

And FYI the tops for a 94 are the same as 80+ but cannot be advertised for them since Federal regs require the shell mounted stop light and seatbelt mounts.

Yeah that looks sweet. Do you have a fast back style soft top in the makings? I would be interested in one if you did.
