[QUOTE=PowerStrokeHD]Maybe Ford should start including fire extinguishers as standard equipment also.

I have to wonder if this is something done intentionaly. Looks like the sticker on the topper window is for Champion Spark Plugs.

I finally got it to download. No one else has said anything about this, but I noticed what looks like hot or burning liquids dripping out the tailpipe on to the asphalt and steaming on the wet pavement. Anyone else notice this?

If this is a real scenario , that really scares the hell outa me. Imagine cranking it up to warm up , go back in the house, and setting the wifes yukon on fire along with the entire house !!!!!!!! Makes me hope they keep my KR 350 DRW in the "mixing pool' as they call it in louisville, where its been ,starting the 4th week now , since it was produced.

The split tailpipe is factory, but I don't recall seeing that black thing when I have looked at them at the dealership. Seems to me that the last exhaust hanger is steel welded on, not black, and is on the tailpipe above the rear axle.

Good call, I have looked at several of these on dealer lots and never noticed anything like that. And yes the bracket is close to a foot further up the tailpipe.

I am starting to have suspicions about the video picture as the video does not show Ford stock exhaust. If it was modified then anything could happen such as shown in the video.

Just checked my 2008 PSD exhaust pipe. The end pipes are 4 inch diameter each. The exhaust hanger nearest to the end of the pipe is located 24 inches futher back and hangs off the main truck frame with a 1/2 metal hook shaped rod. The video shows smaller pipes and a different metal attachment.

it's weird, that black thing you only see from one angle in that video. you dont' see it in the beginning. i bet that it's something further back and because it's hard to tell depth in a video, it looks like it's attached to the tail pipe.
that pic above shows the new 08 tailpipe, how is pilotshot 4" dia. tubing at the end. those aren't 4" in that post above, they don't look like it anyways.putting it in perspective of anything else in that photo. they look like two 3 inch outlets on that new exhaust, but that's my guess without actually measuring them now.

Part of the reason you only see it at the one angle is the low quality of the video. The only thing farther back at the angle in question is the heat shield for the spare tire and it doesn't look like that. The tailpipe splitter in the video appears stock except for the black attachment in the Y.
