Unless Ford dropped the Powerstroke badge from the doors, this one isn't a diesel, even though it somewhat sounds like one.

With all that fuel being burned at the tailpipe instead of within cylinders, the mileage has to be absolutely abysmal!

When your neighbor asks you about the fuel economy of your new $50,000 purchase, are you going to tell him, "Four miles per gallon of $3.00 fuel"? You'd be the laughing stock of your neighborhood!

Click the link, when the window opens, right click on the "Click Here" thing and click "save target as" and then open it in your documents or whatever. Worked for me.

Entertaining yes...but a disgrace to a nice $50K truck.

I think the horrible sound was just a product of the bad sound equipment...camera didn't seem to be too terribly high quality. My exhaust sounds great but when I try and record it, it sounds horrible, I'm thinking the same thing just happened here.

It's a diesel. The powerstroke badge is now integrated into the fender vent.

The new engine labels are on the side air vents not on the door now.
The air vents are red for the diesel and black for the gassers (if I recall correctly)

it's not time for a new engine. navistar didn't screw over anyone. this isn't happening on all the trucks sold, only a few reports so far. and i think it's something hardware related that will be fixed. it's not the motor itself. because that is just a bored out and slightly modified 6.0 under there.

don't be so quick to throw ford under the bus. i'm not saying this should be happening, but let's not assume that the whole truck should be scrapped, too many rushes to judgement going on there.

let's wait to see how ford is going to handle this and fix the problem.

Well the page doesn't work at all now. It says "401 Authorization Required" Apparently someone pulled the video, so could someone who saved it to their computer post it somewhere for the rest of us to see it?
