loose linkage

loose linkage
Had trany rebuilt, now have no passing gear (C6). Notice linkage was attached at the carb, but hanging loose at the tranny. Need help thanks.

Take it back to the shop that rebuilt it. Or hook it up at the tranny. I'm not quite sure what you need help with.

Looks like it lost the "C" clip on the tranny.

I believe it is an E-Clip that holds it on. You can buy them from most Parts Stores. My guess is it is about 1/4" in size.
