I went to Richmond IN last weekend from WI...took 6hrs one way threw chicago and she performed perfectly. 685 miles on a full tank(fuel up to the cap) 70mph most of the time so we didnt get ran over by a few truckers...i seen one trucker w/trailer FLY past me when i was going 70mph. I just imagined what his pryo was reading lol.

Seen one truck POURING black smoke, seen the cloud of smoke 10 min before i seen the truck and it seemed like he did not want to stop for noting. Saw one trailer cut right down the middle like a hot knife throught butter...dunno what happend there but it happend right before an underpass. Funny things happend around chicago!

Na, the turbo is new(er), the injector was bad, but i think the others are bad as well....so all 8 are getting replaced with someone a bit bigger......

NIICE! I gotta see it now lol. I also noticed the auto enginuity. I got a question about that. How accurate is the Torque numbers? and how much does it say your truck is reading. Also how do u like it? Im thinking about buyin that for my laptop that i have to buy lol.

I have not messed with that part of it. IIRC it doesnt work on these since they are not OBD2 compliant. I like it, its how i found the bad injector. If you get it make sure you get the enhanced one since the normal one doesnt do jack for these trucks, the enhanced does everything.

About a month ago I drove my 01 to Birmingham, AL. from southeast GA. about 500 miles it never missed a beat. One the way back with 5,559#s of shingles in the bed, it never missed a beat.

I drove the 01 instead of the 06 because I want to keep the miles off the 06 as long as possible!

AE is a great tool. It pays for it self in no time. I believe john is right that it can't tell the hp and torque of our trucks. The 7.3 is missing some of the sensors it needs to calculate them. But it can really help when something isn't running right, well worth the money and Alan is an expert on using it, there is so much info in AE that it takes alot of playing with it to learn how to do everything. I wish it had a book for our 7.3's so we could tell what all the results are and what percentages means things are bad and what not.
