EBV Exhaust brake from Pure Diesel
Has anyone installed the EBV exhaust brake from Pure Diesel Power? If so, how good does it work? ($99) The following was copied from their website:
This module utilizes the Engine Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (EBPV).
Built in Torque Converter (T/C) Lockup function (Auto Transmission Only).
Dual Switch (+12V Activated or Brake Activated, defeats Cruise Control).
A nice built in feature of this affordable Module is the ability to lightly touch the brakes, acvtivating the EBPV, T/C lockup and your trailer E-brakes. Together they take the load of the truck brakes.
In addition you flip the switch to constant on of the EBPV and T/C lockup, or disable them alltogether. .
Dual LED (Red for Brake, and Green for +12V activated).
Easy 5 wire hookup.
Works on all 97-2003 7.3L Powerstroke Diesels.
