03 F150 Occasional Sputter when accelerating in wet weather

I have a 03 F150 4x4 5.4l;
I have been experiencing problems when the weather is moist and/or wet. When i accelerate it hesitates until I accelerate harder. It is almost like there is a crack in a line that gets moisture in it. After the wet weather, it takes a couple days for it to dry out and then it runs just fine.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum

Sounds like moisture is getting into the sparkplug pockets. I would replace all 8 coil boots and be sure to use plenty of dielectric grease.

Do a search on COP coil over plug, sounds like a good place to start.
