OK anyone have a 300 six engine "perch"?

Since everyone wants to remove their 300 six cylinder and install a V8 does anyone have the perch as some call it ?I have an 86 250 with a 302 and just bought a carbed 300 and need the crossmember that the six cyl bolts too as Im told they are different for a V8 and six cyl.Maybe someone did a V8 conversion and still has this part or can tell me where I can find one Thanks Jason

I did, then scrapped it, now I wish I had it back. Maybe try the 80-86, and 87-91 forums.

You should be able to find those perches almost anywhere. They're the same from 80-96/7 and it's not like there's a shortage of these trucks in salvage yards. I'm holding onto all my 6 cylinder stuff so if one day my 390 decides to let go I can just swap staright back.

I had an old truck that had both perches already installed. It was using the 300 motor mounts but had the v8 mounts also which was kinda odd. The front end had info for a 351 so i figure that somebody did that swap to it. only thing is it also had the radiator for the 300 so who knows. It might have been in a wrech. Its a parts truck now I could sell you the plates if you want. how far away are you? I am in Chrisney IN.
