We would like to put on a Multi-State GTG at Cherokee,NC this summer.

I like the idea, if time of event is good and $$.....I will go. I try to go up camping once a year in the smokies anyway...It wouldn't take much to talk me in-ta another trip

That sounds like a good idea to me. I will be there providing I am not broke that weekend . Hopefully I will find a job soon and things will get back to normal.

We make at least 1 trip to the Smokies every year. I would love to have a "reason" to make another one! What is the idea for timing?

 

Im in, and also at or close to casino. It will entertain my sweet wife and I can get a free room there.

well me and cliff are hoping sometime in the summer. i think it would be a awsome trip and get to meet other fte members and if it goes well we hope to have one every year. and maybe get some other activities lined up in the future.

 

We did a vannin run last year, used Arrow Head Campground, outside the reservation, campout, yet close enough to make a run to the reservation.

 

well if we get enough to sign up we are going to see about a group club rate at hotels, i know some will like to camp and some will perfer a hotel, so we are looking in to hotel club rates for ones that want stay at a hotel

 

I'd stay at a hotel.

Maybe it would be a good idea to have both set up hotel and a campground.
We will check into it.

 

If we make it we will stay at Smokemont in GSMNP.
