I did the same mod to my K&N FIPK and I have the sensor zip tied to a bracket just in front of the Master Cylinder. The sensor is really close to the filter.
Thanks I'll do that, did you use the K&N tube on yours? The tube from the old K&N had a small lip on the end, hope that dont effect anything. The clamp though pulls the rubber end of the filter in pretty close to the tube. I then used some black silicone along the seams.
I was really hoping to hear the turbo more like i could when i had my cummins. now it sound like i have a blow off valve under the hood and it really wasnt what i was wanting to hear. how do i make my psd's turbo sound like my old cummins? or is it even possible? I might need to change my muffler so i can hear it more

I know what you saying, mine sounds just like the K&N but louder. Like a gasser with the air cleaner off. lol. How much louder will the truck be if the muffler was removed? Thanks

You need the 4" aftermarket exhaust or muffler delete and the Wicked Wheel for the turbo. It'll be close. If you look around, you'll find some audio clips of that combo.
I actually prefer the sound of the V8 PSD to the Cummins because my truck sounds more like a hot-rod with a big block with the added bonus of the turbo whistle. The cummins sounds too much like a friggin' deuce-and-a-half (old green military truck, for those of you that don't know) for my taste...

I took the K&N cone filter off and put the 6637 on and clamped it down. BUT before I could get the filter on I had to trim the battery tray and remove the heat shield. Once that was done the filter fit.
I have the 4 inch exhaust but i still have a muffler in it. and ideas on what muffler i should change to?
Whose system do you have and how much damn whistle do you want??
Do you want more than the clip I posted?? I think he has his muffler in place, so you could get more whistle with the Wicked Wheel & deleted muffler, but I don't know how much more. That's the perfect amount for my taste, though. Maybe someone else can chime in...

I have the 4inch from the turbo back. I think it is made by dynomax. I was thinking about changeing the muffler to get more whistle but i dont know if this is what i need. I like the level of whistle that you posted but i really dont like the idea of tearing into my turbo, and i have hear that thw wicked wheel causes a loss in boost. I was also thinking aboiut changing my intake to the ais system but i am not to sure
