ESP Warranty/Ford Diesel 100k warranty-help!

My 7.3 Excursion is at the dealer for an oil leak repair. Dealer found oil leak coming from Turbo and pedestal gaskets. Needs new turbo and gaskets. I have ESP warranty wih $0 deduct. Dealer tells me Powerstroke 100k warranty covers the turbo with $100.00 deduct even though ESP covers turbo with zero deduct. Dealer says I have to pay $100. Truck has 71k. Sounds to me like ESP should cover the deduct. Can anyone help me? Truck is supposed to be ready tomorrow....

If you have any experience with this please chime in.......Thanks.

Depends on your ESP coverage, I have ESP Premium, $50. deduct, it covers EVERYTHING, you need to get your paperwork from when you bought it, and it should show what you have. I had to go to dealer twice, once for my 99, and once for my 02, because they entered them wrong "somewhere" I had my original sales invoice with "Premium Care ESP, $50 Deduct" right on it, so they had to enter it right there correctly.
So I would find your invoice and see exactly what ya got, there are 3 levels I think. If you have your invoice, it all is on there.

thanks for the reply-the dealer is saying ESP kicked it back to Ford's 100K powerstroke warranty-therefore I have to pay the deduct. The paperwork and dealer agree that I have a zero deduct on my ESP....I think the ESP should cover the deduct (zero in my case) and Ford can cover the turbo. You see what I mean now?

I'll be p/o'ed if they try that on me. That's the point in having a '0' deductible warranty! Raise heck with them.

*****What coverage of ESP do you have?!!***** You may have a $0 deductable, however, you could have the lower coverage that doesn't cover it, but it IS covered under the 100k powerstroke warranty. You need to check that before ya start raisin to much he**, and THEN if it is Premium ESP, then I would go to town on them.

I have a 7/100k 'Premium Care' plan. I hope I lose money on it.

Okay guys-here it is! It is the premium ESP. I called the ESP customer care line-explained the situation to them. They told me I should have to pay ZERO, the dealer submits the $100 deduct under the ESP and the powertrain warranty picks up the cost of the Turbo and pedestal. I called the dealer back and shared the info with him. I got the truck back and did not pay a deduct. That was a close call. Now-who had beer riding on that...?
